This is a Spring 2025pressing from exclusively gushu material. These very large trees (pictured) grow in the forest on Wuliang mountain. They grow tall with wide diameters, and are likely hundreds of years old, though the precise ages are very difficult to ascertain. The old tree material in this tea create a thick mouthfeel with low bitterness and a refreshing sweetness. Later steeps reveal a pleasant rice aroma. These 357g cakes have been carefully processed to ensure transformation over time, feel free to drink now, or keep in storage for aging.
