Mei Zhan is a predominantly an oolong cultivar from Southern Fujian. Today, it is one of the cultivars used for New Technique Panyong Congou. This one stood out in tastings against other Mei Zhan reds for its active mouthfeel and cooling effect, which pairs well with the intrinsic plum aroma of the Mei Zhan cultivar. 

Suggested brewing: 5g in a 100ml porcelain vessel, slightly longer steeps.
