Shui Xian is one of our favourite cultivars, especially its old bush versions, and the best location for this type of tea is still the core Zhengyan area of Wuyishan. This tea serves as an entry point to Shui Xian from the Zhengyan area. The texture is thick and mellow, free from any bitterness, astringency or sourness, allowing the old bush Shui Xian characteristics to emerge, including the congwei or 'old bush taste.'
