We cannot accept any returns for tea or teaware, all sales are final.

Lost Packages

While we will compensate any package that has been lost prior to clearing customs in the receiving country, we are not responsible for lost or mis-delivered packages once it has been cleared by the receiving county's customs and released to the local carrier.

Damaged items
We carefully package all items, especially teaware. Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can assist you in resolving the issue. 

Note on vintage items

Occasionally we sell vintage teaware. We do our best to authenticate these items by using recognised textbooks and other sources, including consulting with experts and collectors where possible. We cannot accept returns or refunds for these vintage items, unless they arrive damaged, in which case please contact us and we will try to solve the problem. Many vintage items have imperfections due to age or the craft techniques of the time they were made. We will not accept returns or refunds for any imperfections. We will explain any imperfections on the product page with accompanying photos.

Note on packaging

Our packaging is sometimes handmade, with handwritten Chinese calligraphy, please accept any variations or imperfections as a result. Damaged packaging is not grounds for a refund, unless the tea or teaware itself is damaged.

Refund process
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
