This tea consists of younger tree material compared to our 'Wuliang Gold' pressing. These trees grow in a clean environment on slopes near Zhongcang Village on Wuliang mountain. This tea is an affordable representation of the Wuliang terroir, suitable for drinking now or long-term aging. Right now it has a hint of smoke, moderate bitterness, and a gentle sweetness that builds up in the throat. We have tried aged versions of this material and we are confident it will age very well. With age this tea will mellow out, developing stone fruit notes and a strong hui gan. Feel free to drink now, or keep for the future.
