This is a classic Hongni (red clay) shuiping teapot from Yixing Factory 1. It's rare to find one unused like this. The pour is fast and smooth despite the clay deposits near the spout. There are natural kiln cracks on the knob and bottom which do not affect use. Otherwise it is in excellent condition with no signs of ever being used.

Please accept the usual craft imperfections in teapots of this age, such as a looser lid fit, natural kiln cracks, tooling marks etc.
