A light roast Zhangping Shui Xian from a cluster of 100 year old bushes. The ceiling for Zhangping Shui Xian is lower than Wuyi Shui Xian, so while this tea won’t have the complexity of a 100 year old bush Shui Xian from Zhengyan, it will have features that most Zhangping Shui Xian doesn’t have, including prominent shengjin (mouth-watering) and congwei (old bush taste). Very mellow, refreshing, and comfortable to drink.

Each cake is around 10g with some minor variation due to the hand-pressing technique. We suggest brewing as the locals do with one cake per 100-120ml gaiwan. For this one, longer steeps of around 1 minute or more are recommended.
