This Tie Guan Yin is made from the Hong Xin (Red Heart) varietal, the original varietal for so-called ‘Traditional’ Tie Guan Yin. The heavy charcoal roast has settled nicely over the past three years of storage. It’s a well balanced, sweet tea that is easy to enjoy. We like to brew it like the picture below: Gongfu style with 8g in a 80ml-100ml teapot.
