Mei Zhan (plum blossom) is predominantly an oolong cultivar from Southern Fujian. Today, it is one of the cultivars used for Panyong Congou, either with the shaking step or not. This one is processed traditionally, without a shaking step. This Mei Zhan stood out in tastings for its active mouthfeel and cooling effect, which pairs well with the intrinsic plum aroma of the Mei Zhan cultivar. 

Suggested brewing: 5g in a 100ml porcelain vessel, slightly longer steeps.
