Each cake is 7 grams, individually boxed and vacuum sealed for freshness.
This is a red (black) tea made from an early Spring flush of Zhangping Shui Xian leaves. The processing method is explained in our documentary. This tea has a light lychee sweetness and is quite resistant to brewing for a red tea. You can get many steeps from one cake. Unlike the oolong type of Zhangping Shui Xian, this tea contains buds and younger leaves. Farmer Huang Tingyong produces his red tea at the start of the tea picking season so that he can process the buds and young leaves for red tea and leave the mature leaves for oolong production.
