A sample set of three teas from the same producer. Zeng Puyu is the only female producer among the 41 Intangible Heritage producers of Zhangping Shui Xian. As she states in the below interview, women play essential roles in every step of tea processing, while relatively few produce tea under their own name. Her unroasted teas have a distinctive style of slightly heavier oxidation and tighter rolling, resulting in robust osmanthus and orchid sweetness in the tea liquor. Her tea cakes are also compressed a bit tighter in the wooden moulds during the pressing step. Her roasted teas have also been recognised, with her Spring 2025 roasted tea winning First Prize in this year's production skills competition.

2 x Orchid Fragrance Zhangping Shui Xian - Traditional Unroasted
Made from older bushes compared to the Osmanthus Fragrance. Smooth textured and lingering aftertaste.
1 x First Prize Roasted Zhangping Shui Xian - Light Charcoal Roast
After being wrapped in paper, the cakes are baked slowly over charcoal for several days. Won First Prize in Zhangping's Spring 2025 production skills competition, tied with Chen Zongqin's tea.
We recommend brewing as the locals do in Zhangping: Gongfu style with one cake in a 100-120ml gaiwan.
