Hong Kong Tea Shops

A selection of representative oolong teas from some of the old tea shops in Hong Kong. These shops have a long history of providing staple roasted oolongs to Hong Kong locals. Today there are only a few shops that still roast in-house. Due to regulations on Hong Kong Island, stores like Cheung Hing and Fukien Tea Co. have had to switch over to electric roasting. Ming Heung Tea Co is situated in Kowloon City, and so continues to charcoal roast their teas (coming soon).
