A set of oolong samples from teahouses on Hong Kong Island. The previous sample set focused on teahouses on the Kowloon side across the harbour. This is more than a geographical difference. Due to HK Island regulations, these historic shops have had to switch to electric ovens for their in-house roasting. In typical Hong Kong fashion, these teas are made of cheap material blended together and given heavy roasts. If you ever get a chance to take a trip to Hong Kong, please pay a visit to these shops. All of them except Cheung Hing are within walking distance of the Sheung Wan MTR station.

Two classics from Fukien Tea Co, who do a single 60-70 hour electric oven roast to their teas.
16g - Heavy Roast Tie Guan Yin by Geow Yong Tea Co.
16g - Heavy Roast Old Bush Shui Xian by Geow Yong Tea Co.
Geow Yong have many different grades of Shui Xian in similar looking packaging. This is one of their higher end, old bush versions. The Tie Guan Yin is also one of their more expensive versions.
