Cultivar: Da Ye Zhong (Yunnan Big Leaf Varietal)

An 'ancient tree' dianhong from Baoshan in the northwest of Yunnan. Made by the same producer as the China Red, in a more orthodox oven-dried dianhong style. While we usually prefer the more complexly processed China Red, this tea is enjoyable in its own right. Quality material and well-executed oxidation gives it very good mouthfeel and longevity.
