Yangmei Ye means 'Bayberry Leaf' and is so named because the leaves of this cultivar resemble the leaves of the Bayberry or Waxberry fruit tree (pictured below). A rare cultivar, Yangmei Ye is known for its unique aftertaste, which is slightly sour and refreshing. This one is made from 60 year old bushes in Zhong Xin Yan Village on Wudong Mountain.
