An orthodox Zhangping Shui Xian with the classic milk, orchid, and osmanthus aromas of this oolong variety. This particular iteration is made from bushes that are 40-50 years old. Though belonging to the Qingxiang (light fragrance) type, charcoal was still used in the drying process, contributing to its mellow and comfortable character.
Each cake is about 8-10 grams, with some variation due to the hand-pressing process. We recommend brewing as the locals do in Zhangping: steeping a whole cake in a 100ml-120ml gaiwan.
