An orthodox autumn Zhangping Shui Xian with the classic milk and orchid aromas of this oolong variety. This particular iteration is made from bushes that are 40-50 years old. Though belonging to the Qingxiang (light fragrance) type, charcoal was still used in the drying process, making this tea very mellow and comfortable. With inherently low bitterness and astringency, it becomes even more mellow after cooling down in the fairness pitcher.
Each cake is about 8-10 grams, with some variation due to the hand-pressing process. We recommend brewing as the locals do in Zhangping: a whole cake in a 100ml-120ml gaiwan.
