The Shi Family’s daily Panyong Congou. This tea is made from Jin Mu Dan material grown on Baiyun Shan (White Cloud Mountain) in the vicinity of Tanyang Village. Lighter, clean style with a distinct rose aroma. It is interesting to compare this tea with our Cha Wang, Gold Medal, or other Jin Mu Dan’s to see the range of aromas this cultivar can create. 

Made by Shi Liqiang, an Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritor and 7th generation of the Shi Family. The Shi Family goes back to Shi Guangling, who was one of the first producers of Panyong Congou. A statue of Shi Guangling can be found in Tanyang Village, next to the family's preserved Qing Dynasty tea factory. Interviews with the Shi Family will be published in our upcoming documentary.
